Boys’ Soccer: CdM’s Davis, Von Der Ahe first-team All-Pacific Coast League picks

Corona del Mar High senior defenders Davis Case and Chris Von Der Ahe were each named to the All-Pacific Coast League first team in boys’ soccer for their efforts in the Sea Kings’ runner-up finish in league.

Case and Von Der Ahe helped CdM (12-7-6, 5-2-3 in league) advance to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 3 playoffs. The Sea Kings have qualified past the first round in all four seasons under Coach George Larsen.

CdM senior striker Jack Nowak, junior striker Jake Kim and junior Mason Garrell were second-team selections.

Woodbridge’s James Aguirre received the Pacific Coast League MVP award.
