Ready to ‘Get Your Fair Face On’? OC Fair to start July 15

The 126th annual OC Fair has a date and theme.

The summertime tradition at the fairgrounds in Costa Mesa will be held 23 nights, July 15 to Aug. 14, with the title “Get Your Fair Face On!”

The fair will be open from noon to midnight Wednesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and Sundays. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

General admission is $12 a day. A 23-day ticket called the Super Pass is $30 if purchased by May 31 and $35 afterward.

As in previous years, the fair will feature carnival rides, games, competitions, live music, Centennial Farm animals and plenty of deep-fried foods.

Last year’s theme was “One Big Party,” recognizing the fair’s 125th anniversary. About 1.3 million people attended.
