Bob Bistagne<br/>1951 - 2015

Lifelong Glendale resident Bob Bistagne (64) passed away April 11 at his home with family by his side. Born in 1951 to Tom and Wanda Bistagne, he attended Loyola High School and Cal State Fullerton where he earned a degree in Business Administration. While growing up, he naturally spent a lot of time around cars and the family business, Bistagne Bros Body Shop in Glendale, where he learned all facets of auto repair from his family and later became the second generation management. Bob was an avid golfer playing nearly every weekend as well as in numerous local and Palm Springs tournaments often times bringing home trophies. Bob volunteered countless hours to coaching his kids basketball and baseball teams, Little League baseball, and donated time and effort towards the local Rotary Club. In addition to golf, he also loved sailing with son Robert, traveling to see son Brian play professional baseball all over the country, and taking granddaughter Bella to Disneyland or horseback riding. His wife of 30 years, Tana (Cochran) Bistagne, was the love of his life and they enjoyed spending time in their desert house in Rancho Mirage.

In addition to Tana, he is survived by his mother Wanda Bistagne; sister Kathy Roman; brother John Bistagne; brother Chuck Bistagne; sons Teal Metts, Robert Bistagne, Brian Bistagne; and grandchildren Bella and David Metts.

He will be remembered for his kind spirit, generosity, and fairness in everything that he did as a gentleman.

Services will be held on Friday April 17 at 1:00pm at Incarnation Church, 1001 N. Brand Bl Glendale, CA 91202 with reception to follow at Oakmont Country Club.
