Jean L. Rosone, 60, of Burbank, died Sunday October 26 2014 surrounded by family and friends after recently being diagnosed with both pancreatic and ovarian cancers. Born February 11, 1954, in Chicago to Frank and Marion (Cameron) Rosone, she grew up in Bellwood, Illinois and graduated from Proviso West HS in 1972 and from Drake University in 1976 with a BA in fine arts. She made her home in Burbank, CA after graduation from college. Jean was an Emmy Award winning Costumer, mentor, friend, loving and generous daughter, sister and aunt/great aunt. An accomplished entrepreneur, Jean owned and operated the Costume Collection, Great Gift Circle and Gift News Network while still working as a costumer. She was dedicated, meticulous and extremely knowledgeable in in her craft. She loved her family, her work, her work families and her canine companions. She is lovingly survived by her brother Neil (Sue Burda), sister Kyle (Kevin) Falconer, nephews Keith and Mark (Tressa) Rosone, nieces Shannen (Jeremy) Brown and Chelsea Falconer, great nephew and niece Clayton and Carly Rosone, Uncle Robert (Eleanor) Rosone, Aunt Montene Foss, cousins, Susan Rogus, Kathy (Patrick) McIntyre, Karen (Henry) Steinhauer, Nancy (Charles) Schreiber and James (Beverly) Rosone, Christopher (Silvey) Cameron and many dear friends and co-workers and extended family members. Predeceased by her parents. A special thank you to Annie, Diana, Kate, Sharon and Susan for your loving care.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 2-5 pm at Pickwick Gardens, 1001 W. Riverside Drive, Burbank, CA. Cremation rights accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Jean’s name.
