News-Press Pet of the Day: Margot

Share

Margot is a 7-year-old, spayed, female, tan-and-white Chihuahua mix.

Despite her age, this sweet lady is always on the go. She has the energy of a much younger dog. She loves playing with toys and going for walks.

Margot has been out on our mobile unit, where she seemed to get along well with other dogs. Margot qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program, which waives the adoption fee for adopters 60 years old and older. The mandatory microchip fee of $20 still applies.

The regular dog adoption fee is $125, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and a free follow-up health check at a participating veterinarian.

Jedi (A389928) and Gismo (A385023), two Pets of the Day from last week, are both still available.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for a pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A391109, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or emails. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.
