William M. Lisec April 9, 1930-May 27, 2012 William Lisec was born in Wilber , Nebraska on April 9, 1930 to William F. Lisec and Helen Borecky Lisec. In 1945 he moved with his parents to San Diego , CA, graduated from La Jolla High School and obtained a degree in accounting from California State University San Diego . He married Lois Kuhlman in 1950, and together they had 3 children. He served in the Korean Conflict from 1951-52.
Bill began his career with the Federal Government as an auditor in the General Accounting Office. In 1965 he became a Supervisory Price Analyst with the Defense Contract Administration Services in Los Angeles and retired in 1986 as the Director of Contract Management for the Western United States.
Bill married the former Carol Sullivan in 1977. They both shared a love for tennis, kayaking, hiking and camping. They ventured to 6 continents in their travels. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol, sons William Lisec and Paul Lisec (Katie), daughter Ane Agostini (Jim), granddaughters Chelsea Lisec, Ashly Agostini, grandson Jessie Agostini (Janie) and great grandchildren Garrett & Makaylah. He has many friends and family that will miss him dearly. Bill was loved by everyone he met, sharing his smiles, his sense of humor, his philosophy and his kindness. He passed away surrounded by his family on May 27, 2012. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cabrini Villas Club House, 9600 Cabrini Dr. Burbank CA 91504 on July 8, 2012 at 2:00pm
