George William July 26, 1920-July 12, 2012

George William “Bill” Rogers July 26, 1920 – July 12, 2012 Our beloved father passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the age of 91 in Escondido, CA. Loving father of Patricia (George) R. Bynum of Greer, SC, Thomas (Debbie) W. Rogers of Los Angeles, CA and Christine (John) R. Locksy of Escondido, CA, he is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Born in Fresno, Bill was raised in San Francisco, graduated from UC Berkeley and later received his MBA from Stanford University after serving in World War II. He worked his entire career in the health care field doing market research and product development for Baxter, Pharmaseal and Inspiron.
He and Elaine, his wife of 55 years, were long-time residents (35 years) of La Canada Flintridge, CA until they retired to Santa Rosa, CA in 1995. There they enjoyed the beautiful scenery, discovering new wineries, entertaining friends and many visits from their children and grandchildren.
