Irving Scott Currier June 20, 1921-July 17, 2012

Irving Scott Currier 91, passed away on July 17, 2012, at home in Glendale, CA. Born on June 20, 1921, in Kewanee, Illinois. Devoted husband of Peenie, father to Paul, Tom, Jack and Scott. Grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 4. Owner of Gayson’s Camera Store in Glendale for 23 years. Graduated from Hoover High School, Glendale College and Fred Archer School of Photography. Member of Kiwanis, Glendale Camera Club, ROMEOS (“Really Old Men Eating Out”), and long-time supporter of GAR. Memorial service at Forest Lawn Glendale at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, at Church of the Recessional, followed by burial site service. Reception immediately following at Currier residence. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Braille Institute at 741 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA or to Glendale Association for the Retarded (GAR) at 6512 San Fernando Rd., Glendale, CA 91201.
