Mildred A. Dandy August 31, 2012, Mildred A. Dandy peacefully passed away in Oxnard, California. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mildred was the devoted mother of Ronald Dandy (Topeka, KS), Bruce Dandy (Oxnard, CA), and Cynthia Bali (Austin, TX). She lived in Burbank and Glendale most of her adult life and was a volunteer at Glendale Adventist Hospital and worked as a Teacher’s Aide with the Glendale School District. Mildred was a dedicated elections volunteer for the Villa Cabrini Community in Burbank. In 2005, Mildred moved to Florida to be closer to Cynthia and her husband Martin and their two children. In 2007, Mildred returned to California living in Ventura and Oxnard.
Mildred enjoyed playing bridge with friends in Burbank and Glendale. She was a Senior High Youth Group Leader at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Burbank in the late 60’s. She raised her children in Burbank and Glendale. She was a devoted grandmother. In addition, she enjoyed travel with friends and family and visited many countries around the world.
Mildred is survived by son Bruce and his wife Susan; daughter Cynthia and her husband Martin; daughter-in-law Linda Dandy; grandchildren Jonathan, Mary Kathryn, Veronica, Ryan, Bobby, Brandy, Brody, Misty, and Noe. In addition, she had 15 great-grandchildren.
Gone to Heaven, her ashes will be interred at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
