Teresa Lynn Mutch, Sept. 4, 1946 - Oct. 9, 2012

Teresa Lynn Martin Mutch, 66, passed away, October 9, 2012, at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, after a prolonged battle with cancer. Terri was born on September 4, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie Martin.

She attended The Ohio State University, where she met her husband of 43 years, Dr. Joseph Mutch. Terri and Joe were married on January 11, 1969, in Ohio, before moving together to Los Angeles while Joe completed his medical internship.

Terri was the loving mother of four boys, Eric (Kathleen), Brady (Joanne), Trevor and Shaun. She is also survived by her sister Connie Whalen (Jack) and nieces Dana and Laura. Terri devoted her life to her husband and children. Her true passion was simply to care for her family.

Terri donated much of her time to the Women’s Council of Verdugo Hills Hospital, the Mothers’ Guild at Loyola High School, and the Parents’ Club at Claremont McKenna College. Terri also spent the past 10 years working in the administrative office at Flintridge Preparatory School and as a bone density technician at the OB/GYN Medical Group of Verdugo Hills.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20th, at St. Bede the Venerable Church in La Canada Flintridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that friends donate money in her name to either the Women’s Council of Verdugo Hills Hospital or a charity of their choice.
