Norma Kelley Sherry of Glendale passed away peacefully at home on January 22nd. Born in Boston, she lived in California since 1969.

Norma is survived by her loving and much loved family, daughter Linda S. Lange of Delmar, NY,
son-in-law, Ed, granddaughter, Kate Geurin, Kate’s husband, Dave, great-granddaughter, Amelia, and by cousins Phyllis and Tony Andrade, Diane and Roy Miller, and Jack and Donna Mulhane, and their families, and by the son of her heart, David Chambers and Elaine Bowden of Doncaster, England. She is also survived by many treasured friends.

A successful real estate broker with Rossmoyne Realty, Norma also served in a variety of executive positions on local and state real estate associations during her career, including serving as President of the Glendale Association of Realtors.

A woman who always took great joy in life and lived it fully as a great adventure, Norma took
a most special joy in her family and the strong friendships she built in California, Arizona, New York and even England. Among her greatest pleasures were traveling the world, shopping for bargains wherever they could be found, taking delight in the performing arts – especially music and theatre – sharing laughter, and telling a good joke (even if she may have told it before). Norma was a devoted animal lover and lavished affection on the many pets that graced her life. In spite of illnesses and the challenges that come into every life, Norma always celebrated love, generosity and goodness and sought out beauty in all its variety. As a woman who appreciated the finer gifts of her success, she was happiest when she could simply share a glass of wine and a bit of time with her friends and loved ones.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dahad, Carmen, Krista, Joy and Gloria of Home Instead
Senior Care, and to VITAS Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Norma, which
allowed her to remain at home in peace and comfort.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 2, at 2:30 P.M at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, in the Old North Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to: ASPCA.org, 424 East 92nd Street, NY NY 10128-6804; DoctorsWithoutBorders.org, 333 7th Avenue 2nd Floor, NY NY 10001-5004; or the humane society or charity of your choice.
