Lois Grover (Barrett) January 28, 2013

Lois Grover (Barrett) 97, of Glendale passed away peacefully on Monday, January 28th in Glendale, CA.

She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. She attended Utah State University and graduated
from USC. She had a 30 year career teaching with the Los Angeles Unified School District.

While at USC she met her first husband Wesley Hooper. Her second husband was Larry Grover.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Hooper) Fertig. Grandchildren John Dietz, Kris (Dietz) Colosi, and Marc Fertig, great grandchildren Corie, Sara, Deyne, Spencer, and Connor, two great great grandchildren and niece Donna.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother Maurice, daughter Linda Ann Dietz, and granddaughter Jennifer Ann Fertig.

As a speed reader, Lois enjoyed reading and puzzle solving, bridge, traveling, tennis, music, antiquing, meeting friends at the Y for swim class and lunch, summers on Lake Winnipesaukee, and her dogs.

Her family will miss her stories recounting and reminiscing about the family history, and she will be
missed by her many close and loyal friends.

A family service will be held at a later date. To honor Lois, donations can be made to the Humane
Society or a charity of your choice in her name.
