Sally Stauffer passed away peacefully at home. Following a brief hospitalization, her last weeks were spent at home surrounded by her husband and family.

Born in Pasadena, California, she was the only child of Frank and Blanche Jordan. She grew up in Glendale, California where she spent her entire life. Sally graduated from Occidental College and earned her teaching credential from USC. As a young woman she participated in theater and performed in various plays and recitals. It was on a Chicago-bound train, where she was to participate in a summer stock festival, that she met a handsome serviceman, Ivan LaMarr Stauffer. They were married November 12, 1948.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ivan, and their children and spouses; Kenneth (Candace) Stauffer, Susan (Duane) Romberger, Diane Taylor, David (Shelley) Stauffer, Barbara Stauffer, and daughter-in-law Janet Stauffer; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Sally devoted herself to creating a loving home for her family. She was active as a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader and PTA president for many years. She faithfully attended sport and school events for her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Glendale since 1964 until declining health prevented her from attending. She was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, a loving wife and mother and will be missed by family and friends.
