Leon Riley 1925 - 2013

Leon Riley passed away on March 6th from complications following a fall. Leon is survived by his wife of 69 years, Joyce, daughters Jeanette and Marsha, son Jim, ten grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Two daughters, Cheryl and Brenda, preceded him in death.

After a stint in the Navy during WWII, Leon and Joyce moved to California in 1947 and worked
for the JC Penney Co. He later became manager of the Penney store in downtown Burbank. In 1960, Leon started a career in real estate that lasted over 50 years. He was an active member of Calvary Bible Church for 55 years and served as President of the local Salvation Army and the Burbank Board of Realtors.

Leon was known by all as a kind, thoughtful person who treated everyone he met as potential
best friends. Services were held last Sunday at Calvary Bible Church.
