Phyllis Herzer December 14, 1936 - April 3, 2013

Phyllis Herzer, born Phyllis McCullough in Oak Grove, IL to Selma and Vernon McCullough
on December 14, 1936, passed away unexpectedly April 3, 2013. She was preceded in death by
her husband Richard Kimball Herzer in 2003. Phyllis is survived by her three children Diane
Herzer Myers, Mark (Jennifer) Herzer, and Craig Herzer, as well as, seven grandchildren;
Marissa & Matthew Myers (Naples, FL), Keaton & Cole Herzer (La Canada, CA), and Austin, Morgan & Riley Herzer (Naples, FL). She also leaves behind her faithful canine companion “Beau”.

She received a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Northridge University, as well as a PHD from
UCLA. She spent the majority of her career in Human Resources for The Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA. After the loss of her husband, Phyllis moved permanently to Naples and spent much of her time on her two great passions—the game of Bridge and cooking food with family and friends. She loved to teach people to cook, eat great food, and travel the world.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. All are welcome to a reception celebration of her life from 3-5pm at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale.
