Edna C. Worden passed away on April 10, 2013. Some knew her from 42 years at Lockheed Aircraft, as an electrician, others from her annual invites to holiday events; still others knew her as a loyal sports fan of the communities where she resided. Born in Inglewood, CA, Edna spent most of her life in the Burbank and Glendale area, raising four children; Lyle, Linda & Lana Gabel and William Worden. As an electrician at Lockheed, Edna worked in the cockpit of some of the country’s most advanced airplanes. In her final days at Lockheed, she worked at Lockheed’s famous “Skunk Works” projects, which she was extremely proud to have participated in. As an individual, she was a compassionate and loving person, always placing the needs of others before her needs and generously giving and supporting her favorite charities. Her hobbies included raising parakeets and tending to her orchid garden, in her Glendale home. Relocating to Orange County in 1994, her favorite pastime was spending time with her family; especially her four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren!

She is survived by her husband Robert Worden; brother Robert Carter; daughters Linda Head and Lana Speer; son William Worden; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many extended family members. She will be missed by many.

Services will be held at Pacific View Mortuary, located at 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar, CA 92625, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, followed by a family gathering.
