Mary Thomas March 18, 1928 - June 1, 2013

Mary was born in rural Pennsylvania but spent most of her younger years living in Detroit. After the war she met and married Robert L. Thomas and remained his devoted wife for 63 years until his passing in 2010. Mary and Bob moved to California in 1955 with their three children and settled in Glendale in 1962. They quickly became involved in a number of community service organizations, charitable projects and youth groups volunteering their time where most needed over the next 30 years.

Mary loved to golf and enjoyed quiet time sewing. She was loved by her many close friends and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Mary is survived by her three children Larry, Bob and Diane; her sister Jane and brother Billy; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
