Doris Margaret Lowden October 30, 1924 - August 19, 2013

Doris was born in West Creek, New Jersey to the parents of Howard Pope Holloway and Elizabeth Rae Holloway. She had one brother, H. Marshall Holloway, who passed away at the age of 69. In 1963, she moved to La Canada, California to raise her three children. She had a fulfilling career as a secretary for the La Canada Unified School District, retiring in 1987.

She moved to Walnut Creek in 1992 and lived with her daughter, Andrea, and her family helping to raise her grandchildren Kelsey and Kyle. In 2007 she moved to Mercer Island, WA again to be with Andrea and her family. In 2010, she moved back to California and lived at The Heritage Plaza
Tower for three years.

Doris had wonderful, loving friends and lots of laughs at The Heritage. Her three children are grateful and appreciative of all of her friends who added meaning to her life.

Doris is survived by son George Travis Lowden, III and his wife Sandy Phillips, Scott Andrew Lowden and his wife Belinda Lowden, daughter Andrea Elizabeth Nakagaki and her husband Mitchell Nakagaki. Also survived by five grandchildren: Kelsey Nakagaki, Kyle Nakagaki, Connor Lowden, Elliott Lowden and Erik Schmidt. She is survived by two Great Grandchildren: Aidan and Zoey Schmidt.
