Share

The Glendale Area Alumnae Panhellenic is a nonprofit organization serving Glendale and surrounding areas with member volunteers from many of the 26 sororities recognized by the National Panhellenic Conference.

Members raise money through a benefit luncheon each spring to provide scholarships for area high school girls going to a four-year college or university and eligible college undergraduates who are members in good standing of one of the 26 Panhellenic sororities.

High school graduate scholarship recipients are Erinn Quintana of Glendale, who is attending the University of Colorado; Providence High School graduate Samantha Granados of Los Angeles, attending UC Riverside; and Bellarmine-Jefferson graduate Yujung Kim of Van Nuys, attending UC Berkeley.

College scholarship recipients are Marissa Gonzales of Montrose, a student at the University of Miami who is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority; and from Burbank, Celina Rodriguez, a student at Duke University, who is a member of Alpha Delta Pi, and Ariane Sadanaga, a student at Loyola Marymount University who is a member of Delta Delta Delta.
