Dennis Richard O’Neil

Dennis Richard O’Neil of Mercer Island, WA died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

He was born in Los Angeles May 18, 1942 to the late Richard and Nelda McClain O’Neil. He was raised in Glendale and attended La Salle High School in Pasadena.

Dennis was married to Katie Babunes O’Neil for 41 years. He retired after many years at Boeing. He was a talented musician and frequently played the organ at the Church of the Assumption.

He is survived by his wife, Katie, his sister Nelda Ann (John Manion) and his sister-in-law Billie Larimer (Bob) and many family and friends. Dennis leaves an indelible mark on his community, friends and family. May his memory be eternal.

Services will be held at St James Cathedral on Friday, September 20, at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow at Church of the Assumption. Following the reception, interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
