David Smith April 18, 1937 - September 7, 2013

David A. Smith, 76, of Green Valley, Arizona died of natural causes on September 7, 2013. David began his career in Toronto, Canada as a camera man and he enjoyed working as a technical director and camera man in Hollywood, CA for over 35 years. He received 4 Emmy Awards for his contributions. Upon retirement, he became active in the Burbank Rotary Club before moving with his wife, Judi, to Green Valley, AZ in 2002. He was a member of The Green Valley Rotary Club, Green Valley Fire District CERT Team, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Green Valley Fire District.

He was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Judith Smith of Green Valley, Arizona, 18 months ago. David is survived by his son Mike Smith and his wife Ellen of San Diego, CA; his daughter Cyndi Smith of Poway CA; three grandsons: Anthony Smith, Ryan Smith and Eric Smith of San Diego, CA; and one great grandson; Conner Smith.
