Anne Christine Schumacher Tucker 1/1/1945 to 10/24/2013

Anne passed away peacefully, with her loving daughter Tina by her side. She grew up in Glendale, graduating from Glendale High in 1962. Most of her adult life she lived in La Crescenta, where she raised her children. She worked at Braille Institute for more than 20 years, before a brain tumor forced her to retire early. In spite of this diagnosis, she remained active and positive until the last few weeks.

She is survived by her children; Tina, Teresa, Mike, Vince and Randy. She is also survived by several cherished grandchildren, a sister Nancy, and niece Tammy.

Her long time friends Luana, Carole, and Lisa were a tremendous comfort to her, and helped her through this difficult time. Anne will be missed by all who loved her. A memorial gathering will be at a later date. The family suggests any donations in her memory be made to the animal rescue of your choice.
