The Associates of Brand Library & Art Center is organizing an art-and-music book sale to raise funds to expand the free music and dance series offerings next year when the renovated library reopens.

“In the past, we have sponsored three music performances and three dance performances annually, but we hope to increase the two series to include five performances each in 2014,” said Brand Associates president Arlene Vidor.

The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Glendale Central Library Auditorium, 222 E. Harvard St. Admission is free. Additional parking will be available at the Market Place parking structure on Harvard Street with validation available at the library’s reception desk.

Items offered include arts-related books, art auction catalogs, CDs, vinyl records, sheet music, music scores and artwork. A limited set of serigraphs by prominent printmaker Robert Brown will also be for sale.
