It is with deepest sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather (Weto). Ramon was born in Los Angeles and raised in West Sacramento. He attended Clarksburg high school where he excelled in football, baseball and track.

He served his country proudly and was a Korean War veteran in the United States Navy. Ramon married his sweetheart Ofelia and life partner of over 50 years. Together Ramon and Ofelia settled in Burbank to raise a family, where he was a resident for 58 years. He was a dedicated employee for the City of Burbank for 45 years and a loyal USC Trojan fan.

Ramon is survived by his two children, Gilbert of Santa Clarita and Irene (Howell) of Arleta. He will be sorely missed by his daughter-in-law Suzy (Judy), son-in-law James Howell, grandchildren Kristin, Andrew, Lynne, Nicole, and Ryan. Great-grandchildren Emma and Isabella. Two sisters Rosie and Elmira of Sacramento, brother Armando Acedo of Brea, sisters-in-law Connie, Mary and Alicia, brothers-in-law Robert, Richard, Al and Jose. Many, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and truly great friends and family, you know who you are…

Waiting for Ramon in heaven are all his loved ones, cronies, and the love of his life Ofelia, who can now see again the beautiful man you are. Dad, you were a loving father, friend, and great American, we thank you for all your life lessons and will never forget you.
