Dolores Wamhoff Seay January 3, 1929 - January 17, 2014

Dolores Wamhoff Seay of Oxnard peacefully passed away January 17, 2014 at St John’s Hospital, Oxnard, California.

Dolores and her twin sister Phyllis were born in Kanapolis, Kansas on January 3, 1929. In the early 1940’s, along with another sister Carol Dene and twin brothers Don and Ron, her family moved to Burbank, California where they resided for many years. There she met Al Seay and they were married on June 29, 1957. They raised two children, Steve and Susie. While living in Burbank, Dolores was a member of La Cadena Women’s Club.

After their children were grown, Dolores and Al moved to Oxnard where they belonged to Channel Islands Yacht Club. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel & Elmer Wamhoff, husband Al Seay, daughter Susie Seay, son Steve Seay, and brother Ron Wamhoff.

She is survived by sisters Phyllis Gerding (Bud) and Carol Dene Rebber, brother Don Wamoff (Joan), granddaughter Stephanie Seay, great-grandsons Kameron and Michah Seay, and sisters-in-law Barbara Wamhoff and Helen Cates.

Dolores was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
