James B Avery October 6, 1938 - March 5, 2014

It is with sadness we inform you of the passing of James B Avery, age 75 on March 5, 2014 at 11:55am. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to California in 1958. He went to work at the US Post Office in 1960 and retired in 1995. He found retirement did not agree with him and after a few years went back into the work force holding various part time jobs through 2012.

He is survived by his separated wife Dorothy, his sisters Mary and Kathy, sons James and David, his daughter-in-law Aleida and his grandson James B Avery V.

There will be a memorial service at the Valley Funeral Home in Burbank, CA. on March 13, 2014 beginning at 5:00pm with the vigil at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be March 14, 2014 at 10:00am, at St. Finbar Catholic Church.

The family requests that in lieu of cards and flowers, a donation be made to Providence St. Joseph Hospital Cardiac Health in Burbank, CA.
