Rocco “Rocky” J. Mongelli June 21, 1929 - March 10, 2014

Rocco Mongelli, known by family and friends as “Rocky,” passed on Monday, March 10, at 11:30 am. Rocky was the son of Joseph and Antonia Mongelli, the spouse of Julia Mongelli, and the father of Antoinette (Greg Critser), Madeline (Doug Wessel), Anna (Jeff Coauette) and Joseph (Annette Zapata-Mongelli). He was also the grandfather of Elliott, Christopher,
Nicholas, Dominic and Luciana.

Rocky worked as a mechanic at Forest Lawn Memorial Park for 30 years. He is remembered by all as a loving family man with a convivial sense of humor, and as a man of service to others.

A rosary will be held at the Old North Church, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Dr., on Sunday, March 16, at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held the next day, at 10 am Monday, March 17, at St Finbar church, 2010 Olive Ave. Interment follows immediately thereafter. Friends are invited to a light lunch after at the family home, 1840 No. Ontario St., Burbank.
