Glendale area events: An aerial photography exhibit is on display at the Forest Lawn Museum

An exhibit called “The Elevated Eye: Aerial Photography Past and Present” will be on display through March 8 at the Forest Lawn Museum, 1712 S. Glendale Ave., Glendale.

The exhibit features aerial photography works from the 19th century into the 21st century. Both photos and videos are featured in the exhibit.

Sherriff’s department to host blood drive

An event called the “Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Blood Drive” will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, in the parking lot of the Crescenta Valley Station, 4554 Briggs Ave., La Crescenta.

Trio set to perform at art center

The Brand Library & Art Center, 1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale. will present a musical performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

The performance will feature bassist Jory Herman, violinist Michelle Tseng and vocalist Cloie Wyatt Taylor.

Park to hold children’s storytime event

An event called “Storytime at Maple Park” will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, on the second floor of the gymnasium at the Maple Park Community Center, 820 E. Maple Ave., Glendale.

This event will also be held on March 11, April 8 and May 13 at the same time.
