Anniversary

Sally and Jim Perkins met in choir class at Los Angeles City College, and they have been making beautiful music together ever since.

They celebrated their 60 wedding anniversary on June 11 with family at the Mauna Kea Beach Resort in Hawaii where they have vacationed since their 25th anniversary.

Former Mayor of Glendale Jim Perkins and his wife, whose specialty in the kitchen is making lasagna, have lived in their Glendale home for 57 years. They enjoy spending quality time with their three children and their families, which include five grandchildren.
