Camp Rosie, presented by the Commission on the Status of Women, now in its fourth year at the City of Glendale, is recruiting for its summer classes. These classes are designed to empower girls to make personal, educational, financial and career choices to achieve self sufficiency, career satisfaction, and financial security. Throughout both sessions, the girls, ages 13-19, will focus on self development, financial literacy, life skills development, good communication skills, fitness and nutrition, self defense and safe dating, certification in CPR, introduction to non-traditional careers, dance and much more.

Classes will be held at the Pacific Community Center in Glendale from Monday -Thursday 12:30-5pm. There will be two sessions offered July6-July23 and July26-August 13. Classes are FREE. For applications or more information, call (818)548-4844 or email women@ci.glendale.ca.us.
