Stephanie Anne Blair, Nathan Scott Deal wed

Stephanie Anne Blair and Nathan Scott Deal, both of Chicago, exchanged marriage vows in the Rose Garden of Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge. Alan Katz officiated.

The maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Kathryn Blair. Alyssa Kuban served as the bridesmaid, and Shana Blair was the flower girl.

The best man was Aasim Saeed. The usher was Pete Hannon, and ring bearer was Benjamin Blair.

A reception followed in Van De Kamp Hall at Descanso Gardens.

The couple honeymooned on Catalina Island, and will make their home in Chicago.

The bride is the daughter of Janet and Jerry Blair of Glendale. She attended R.D. White Elementary School in Glendale, Marlborough School in Los Angeles, University of Chicago and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where she received her medical degree. She is in her second year as a pediatric resident at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

The groom is the son of Margaret and Don Deal of Kerrville, Texas. He graduated from Ria University in Houston and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is in his second year as an emergency medicine resident at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
