Pet of the week: Tigger

Share

Tigger is a tugger of the heart strings. He is a 10-year-old neutered male who lost his home when his senior person could no longer care for him. While initially cautious meeting new people, once he sniffs out a friendly hand he is right there begging for love and conversation. He appears to be in very good health so should have many more good years in him. Since Tigger is used to being the only pet in the home, that might be the best situation for him, although it is not mandatory. To meet this gorgeous orange tabby, contact the Burbank Animal Shelter and ask about Tigger, ID#A037417.

The shelter is at 1150 N. Victory Place, Burbank, phone (818) 238-3340. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Closed major holidays. To view Tigger or to inquire about other available pets, visit www.thevbas.org. Adoption fees are dogs $104, cats: $78, bunnies: $30 (prices include spay or neuter, vaccinations and microchip.)
