Wedding: Maldonado and McCall

Leann Love Maldonado and William Jackson McCall, who were school sweethearts at John Burroughs High in Burbank, were married at the Little Brown Church of the Valley, the same church in which the bride’s parents were married. Officiating was Pastor Russell Willoughby.

It’s been said that it’s good luck when it rains on a couple’s wedding day, and Leann and William not only had rain, but hail, snow and sunshine.

The maid of honor was Jacqueline Maldonado. The bridesmaids were Crystallee Maldonado, Morgan Gunnell, Samantha Tirado and Kayla Carter. Flower girls were Ashley Carter, Calista Almeida and Savannah Aparicio.

The best man was Willie McCall. The ushers were Sean Foss, Nicholas Marrone, Chris Fragoso and Kyle Whitten. Ring bearer was Teddy McCall, the 4-pound teacup Maltese.

A reception was held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City. The couple honeymooned in San Juan, Puerto Rico and have made their home in Los Angeles.

Leann is the daughter of Lorraine Rivera of Kahului, Maui, Hawaii, and Peter Maldonado of Studio City. She is a graduate of Burroughs Class of 2008.

William is the son of Robin and Billy McCall of Burbank. He graduated from Burroughs in the Class of 2009. He is employed with Whole Foods Market—Arroyo store in Pasadena.
