Exhibit honors Pacific Standard Time

The Associates of Brand Library hosts an opening reception titled “Purchasing Power: Jurors Make Their Mark: Exploring the Associates of Brand Library Juried Exhibitions 1971-1980”

For over 40 years, the annual juried exhibition sponsored by Brand Library Associates has been a stage upon which artists from across the nation have exhibited their work.

As a way to honor Pacific Standard Time: Los Angeles Art, 1945 to 1980, Brand Library hosts 45 artworks from the Purchase Award Collection from 1971 to 1980.

For 11 days in January, Pacific Standard Time is a collaboration of artists and institutions celebrating the art scene in Los Angeles. Visit pacificstandardtimefestival.org.

On Jan. 21 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Associates of Brand Library will host the opening reception to their exhibit which honors Pacific Standard Time.
