Glendale City Hall was transformed Thursday into a multitude of sets for the CBS TV show, “Criminal Minds.”
City spokesman Tom Lorenz said the front steps of the municipal building served as the exterior of a courthouse, while the courtyard did a cameo as a hospital. The Glendale Police Department building across the street played a police station, he said, “but it was the LAPD, if you can believe it.”
Lorenz said July is generally a busy month for filming. There have been 22 production shoots since the Fourth of July holiday, including filming for “NCIS” and “True Blood,” as well as for various commercials.
