Crescenta Valley PTA: Mountain Avenue to present ‘MACK Night Out 2015’

Mountain Avenue Elementary

There will be a combined meeting of the PTA and its executive board at 9 a.m. on Friday in the auditorium.

“MACK Night Out 2015” will be held at 6:30 p.m. on April 10 at La Cañada Country Club, 5500 Godbey Drive, La Cañada. This is a night filled with fine dining, music and dancing as well as silent and live auctions. Proceeds from this event will fund a new computer lab.

Monte Vista Elementary

A talent show will be presented at 6:30 p.m. on April 10 in the auditorium.

Valley View Elementary

“Mother and Son Minute to Win It” will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on April 10 in the auditorium. There will be six challenges using household items, 60 seconds on the clock and 1 million pride points on the line. The event is open to boys in transitional-kindergarten through sixth grade and their mom, female family member or female guardian. Dinner, photography, desserts and games will be provided.

La Crescenta Elementary

The PTA spring fundraiser will begin on April 9. More information will be sent home with students.

“Student of the Month” assemblies will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on April 10 in the cafetorium.

Fremont Elementary

The staff is enjoying a week of surprises and pampering during Staff Appreciation Week, and volunteers are making this event possible.

Crescenta Valley High School

“Addiction is a Family Disease” will be the topic of the next CV Alliance meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the library. Speaker Anita Harutunian, a licensed marriage and family therapist, will address the topic at a parents-only evening. Information about upcoming events can be found at CV-Alliance.org.
