Glendale police hope the public can help track down a man who was reportedly nude and exposed himself to a child last month in a local parking lot.

An 11-year-old boy was standing in the parking lot at Mambo’s Cafe, off of Western Avenue and Victory Boulevard, on Oct. 17 when a vehicle driven by a completely nude man with a female passenger drove up, according to dashcam footage provided to the Glendale Police Department.

In the footage, the man waves to the boy to come over to his vehicle. The boy’s mother, who was in a vehicle the boy was standing next to, saw what was happening and began to yell at the man, who then drove away.

“I got out and [said] ‘what the [expletive]? Do I know you?’ and they took off, they gassed it,” the mother said in the footage to an unidentified person. “They tried to talk to my [expletive] kid.”

The boy can also be heard saying that the man and woman in the vehicle were staring at him as they drove up.

The man is described as being in his 40s or 50s, with white or graying hair. The woman is described as around 50 years old, with dark shoulder-length hair. The vehicle was described as being a silver or gray BMW X5, police said.
