81-year-old man struck, killed in hit-and-run

An 81-year-old Glendale man was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Glendale Saturday evening, police said.

Investigators are looking for the driver of a white sedan who fled after her car struck the pedestrian at Broadway and Belmont Street around 8 p.m., said Glendale Police Sgt. Robert William.

The pedestrian, identified as Martiros Arutyunyan, was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
