Several homes were evacuated Sunday when a brush fire started in the Adams Hills neighborhood, charring a roughly two-acre hillside near Forest Lawn in Glendale, officials said.

The fire that broke out southeast of Forest Lawn was reported about 11:30 a.m., said Brandy Villanueva of Glendale Fire Department. About 110 firefighters from Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, the city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County knocked down the blaze about 1:10 p.m.

No injuries were reported. The cause is still under investigation, she said.

“During the fire fight we did evacuate 10 homes but those evacuation orders have been lifted,” she said.
