Gerald (Jerry) Thomas Geraci, born December 14, 1942 at Los Angeles, CA died of pulmonary complications at St. Agnes Hospital in Fresno, CA. He was married to Pamela J. Barrett on March 24, 1974 in Fresno, CA. He is survived by Pamela and three children, Anthony P. Geraci, MD, Julie M. Geraci, Sgt. NYPD, Chelsea M. Geraci, M.Ed.; four grandchildren, Madison S. Milliorn, student, Peter T. Morawek, 2nd Lt. USMC, Veronica L. Morawek, Psychology Major at the College of Staten Island, and Gracie A. Morawek, student, and two older brothers, Ronald J. Geraci (Sally) and Gordon (Buddy) A. Geraci; sister-in-law, Debbie Geraci and many nephews and nieces.
Jerry went to John Burroughs High School in Burbank, CA. He played football and made many lifelong friends there.
Jerry worked all of his life in the food service industry. Starting at age 19, he was the production manager for the Doumak Marshmallow Company in Los Angeles, CA. He moved to Fresno, CA and opened Little Anthony’s Sub Sandwiches. He later opened Guido’s Pasta in Fresno, and two other locations. Guido’s specialized in fresh made pasta and Italian main course dishes. After suffering several heart attacks Jerry decided to go into a less stressful business as a realtor, working for London Properties in Fresno, CA.
Jerry was a kidney transplant recipient on January 7, 1975. Last January he celebrated the 37th anniversary of that transplant.
