Glendale police said they’re investigating a possible murder-suicide in connection with a body found on the 134 Freeway and another at a nearby townhouse early Wednesday, according to KTLA.

Authorities received a call around 3:30 a.m. about an incident at a townhouse at 56 Northwoods Lane, police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said during a news conference.

The door was open when the officers arrived, and they soon found the body of a man in his 50s inside a room.

Lightfoot said investigators were not sure what was said during the dispatch call, but it was clear that a crime had been committed.

She said about 45 minutes later, police were alerted about another man in his 50s who had jumped from an overpass on the 134 Freeway near Harvey Drive onto westbound traffic.

The California Highway Patrol responded and discovered the body.

Authorities issued a SigAlert and partially blocked the freeway. All lanes were reopened just before 10 a.m.

Detectives think both men lived in the townhouse. They’re withholding their identities pending notification of next of kin.
