Galo Ulloa was a man who came from humble beginnings. He became orphaned at age 8 years old as a result of circumstances beyond his control. From the age of 8, left on his own, he worked carrying luggage at a fairy in Guayaquil, Ecuador because he was much too young to be given a job. At the age of ten his cousin and he started to learn the trade of shoe making/shining, which earned them enough money to rent a room. He met and married young, and had his two oldest children, Mariana and Albert. He then accomplished his dream by coming to the United States to give his children in Ecuador a better quality of life. While in New York, he met and fell in love with his future wife. Though he had a difficult life, his character never wavered, because he was honest to a fault He was a man of great integrity, and only knew how to put his family and friends first. He worked 2 jobs to provide for his family a better life than he had. He was stubborn, but in a good way that compelled him to take any challenge and know for certain he would not fail. He would always find a way to accomplish what he set out to do.
May God reward him in heaven, as he rewarded us for 66 extraordinary years with Galo.
