The woman who was found dead at the Days Inn in Glendale last week was identified as 21-year-old Jasmine Quarles, coroner’s officials said.
Quarles was found dead last Wednesday in a room at the hotel, located in the 400 block of Pioneer Drive, with a gunshot wound to her head, according to Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter.
Housekeeping went in to clean the room on Wednesday — the day the woman was slated to check out — and found her body, he said. She had reportedly checked in three days earlier.
No weapon was located, Winter said.
No suspect has been arrested.
The investigation remains ongoing.
