BOYS’ BASKETBALL

St. Francis 52, Maranatha 35: The Golden Knights improved to 1-1 with

a pool-play victory over the Minuetmen in the Pasadena Poly Tournament

Thursday.

Adam Vidaurrazaga led St. Francis with 17 points. Michael Jenkins had

12 and Jeff Brown added eight points. Brett Mitchell had six points,

Brian Gonzalez and Nathan Terrazone four each. Tyler Terrazone had three

points.

St. Francis will play Southwestern Academy today at Pasadena Poly at 3

p.m., also in pool-play action.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Ribet Academy 46, Alverno 33: The Fighting Frogs improved to 3-2 with

a nonleague victory Thursday night.

Saterah Moore had 33 points and 16 rebounds to lead the way. Chantelle

Avila had seven points and Anita Babakhanian had four points and eight

rebounds. Erin O’Neal had seven points.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Flintridge Sacred Heart 8, Mayfield 0: The Tologs improved to 5-0 with

a shutout victory over the host Cubs.

Jessica Reyes scored four goals and Lure Johnson added two. Camille

Santos and Kaitlin Fitzgibbons each had a goal.

Kat Kozak had four saves and Nicole Yonai had one.
