Michael Boukidis, the son of Constantine M. Boukidis of Glendale, was
the top ticket seller for the Verdugo Hills Council’s Scout-O-Rama held
on May 20.
Boukidis sold 530 tickets over a six-week period, which helped raise
funds for the Scouting programs. About 9,000 Scouts from three districts
competed.
The Scout-O-Rama is held each year to show the community the great
activities Scouts do. The competition for top seller was held between the
Tiger Cub Scouts, Cub Scouts, Webelos, Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts.
Boukidis takes after his father. In 1969, Constantine Boukidis won the
top seller award as a Webelos I scout from the Verdugo Hills Council.
Boukidis is a fourth grader at Verdugo Woodlands Elementary School and
a member of Cub Scout Pack 131. He is also a Webelos I.
