GCC applications online

Students who want to apply to Glendale Community College but can’t seem

to get their hands on an application can now turn to the college’s Web

site -- www.glendale.cc.ca.us.

The hope is the online application that was created in-house will

gives prospective students an easier and friendlier way to apply for

admission to the college.

At the end of the application, people can press the “submit” button

that automatically transmits the document into the college database.

“It’s all on a secure server so the applicant complete privacy,” said

Sharon Combs, dean of admissions and records.

After the application is forwarded, it will not be processed until

college receives the signature form which can also be found on the Web

site. The form must be printed as hard copy, signed and mailed to the

college to complete the process, Combs said.
