GARY LOUIS DICKSON

Gary Louis Dickson, 51, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at a Glendale

hospital.

Mr. Dickson was born in Bend, Ore. and lived in the La Crescenta/La

Canada Flintridge area for more than 23 years. Mr. Dickson was a partner

of the law firm Latham & Watkins.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann; son, Caskey; daughters,

Lainy and Leslie; brother, Dave; and sisters, Ellen McNamee and Susan

Taylor.

A Rosary will be at 3:30 today at Crippen Mortuary Chapel, 2900

Honolulu Ave. in La Crescenta. A funeral Mass will be at noon Saturday at

St. James the Less Catholic Church, 4625 Dunsmore Ave. in La Crescenta.

Interment will be after the funeral Mass at San Fernando Mission

Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave. in Mission Hills. All services are under

the direction of Crippen Mortuary.

Memorial donations may be made to Dr. Leslie Weiner, Multiple

Sclerosis research at USC University Hospital, 1510 San Pablo St., No.

268, Los Angeles, CA, 90033.

LAWRENCE JOHN CASHION

Lawrence John Cashion, 95, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at his home in

Glendale.

Mr. Cashion was born Oct. 25, 1905, in Hennessey, Okla. He was a past

president of Kiwanis Clubs in Glendale and Eagle Rock, served on the

Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Southern California and the

Glendale Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Cashion was a certified public

accountant in private practice in Glendale and Los Angeles for more than

50 years.

Survivors include his children, David and his wife Grace, John and his

wife Marcia, Brian, Marilyn and her husband Barry Currier; brother,

Dwight; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces

and nephews; and his friend and housekeeper, Dorothy Watts.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 at First United

Methodist Church of Glendale, 134 N. Kenwood St.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lawrence John Cashion’s name to

Glendale Kiwanis Youth, Inc., 3920 Oakgate Court, Glendale, CA,

91214-3257, or to another charity of the donor’s choice.
