MARVIN LIEBERMAN
Marvin Lieberman, 80, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000.
Lieberman was born May 4, 1920, in Cleveland. He had lived in Glendale
for 31 years. Lieberman’s wife of 54 years, Agnes, died before him in
1999.
Lieberman was recently inducted into the U.S. Navy Roll of Honor for
Combat Air crewmen for his service on the aircraft carrier Yorktown. He
was an artist and drummer.
Survivors include his daughters, Lorie Lieberman, Judy Schlegel and
her husband Richard, and Susan Kaye and her husband Byron; grandchildren,
Tadd and Rachel Raptis, Jeremy and Denise Levine, Sandy and Shico
Marciano; great-grandchildren, Madison and Jared Levine; brothers,
Stanley Nelson and Richard Lieberman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at noon Friday at Mount Sinai Memorial Park,
Hollywood Hills, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers,
the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society at
the location of the donor’s choice, or your favorite charity.
