ROBERT A. VARGO

Robert A. Vargo, 62, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at his home in Lake

View Terrace.

Mr. Vargo was born July 29, 1938, in McKeesport, Pa. He was the owner

of Glendale Auto Body since 1966 and owner of Car Color of Glendale since

1980. Both businesses sponsored Little League teams in Glendale.

Mr. Vargo was a former president of the Glendale chapter of the

Independent Garage Owners Assn. and a former member of the Lions Club of

Glendale.

He is survived by his son, Mark; daughter Michelle McMillin; and

grandsons Riley, Hunter and Cade.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of the

Recessional at Forest Lawn, Glendale, 1712 S. Glendale Ave. A burial will

take place immediately afterward. Family asks that in lieu of flowers,

donations be made in honor of Robert A. Vargo to Sunland Neighborhood

Church, 10632 Oro Vista Ave., Sunland, CA 91040.
