“The Armenian Genocide issue is getting old real fast.” The more I
read this, the more disgusted with it I become.
I understand the writer was sharing his opinion, but what he wrote
goes way past something acceptable for printing. It’s not just rude it’s
disgraceful.
I too am sad the Armenian Genocide is still an issue. The Armenian
Genocide should have become an internationally recognized fact by now,
but it hasn’t, and so we Armenians will not rest until it is.
What makes anyone think Armenian-Americans here are less American than
anyone else? And what relevance does “the Armenian community will be
trying to get out of here” at the first sign of war have to do with the
U.S. recognizing the genocide? This false statement was added only for
the purpose of insulting Armenians.
I suggest Paul Carney get over his Armenian sickness for the next
time City Hall lowers the American flag to honor the Armenian Genocide.
